Great question. And one I don’t have a simple answer to. I have been called a child of the universe. As an adoptee, I have had the honor of having two sets of parents in my life. Double the experiences and double the perspective.

I’ve always wanted to be creative, even when I wasn’t. I just needed to find a creative solution. So I started writing poetry and when I got the chance, I got a job in advertising. I made it! Well, I made copies and appointments, but soon I became a full-fledged account man, then media, and broadcast traffic, before finding my way as a traffic coordinator.

After learning the ropes, copywriting was calling my name, so I transitioned and began learning the trade…and I loved it.. Now, nearly 30 years later and I’m still as passionate about it as I was in the beginning, always trying to find that sweet spot where creativity and logic collide. Oh, and I turned my poetry into songwriting and I have about 150 songs to my credit…and more on the way. A wise man once told me: “If you want to be creative, you have to live creatively.” I follow that guidance religiously.

So allow me to introduce myself, I’m Paul Mansolillo — a Creative Director and Songwriter passionate about storytelling across mediums. Whether through visual design or music, my work focuses on emotion, clarity, and connection.
